The Benefits of Acai Juice
Most juices in the United States contain limited nutritional value. Why? Well, it all boils down to one major factor: the amount of fruit being used. True, there are a few brands that can sport a label of “100% juice” but most contain less than 20%. And there are some brands that don’t contain any juice.
So, does that mean everyone should just buy brands purporting 100% juice? Not necessarily. While these juices are clearly healthier than some of the other alternatives, they are not always the healthiest, mainly because some fruits aren’t as nutritious as others. Of course, you can counteract this problem by drinking juice made from one of the healthiest berries on the planet… the acai.
Grown in the jungles of the Amazon, the acai berry has been a South American delicacy for centuries on end. Not only is it extremely tasty, but it also provides Omega fats, antioxidants, vitamins and other nutrients. That’s why in America and other Western nations, acai juice is growing in popularity.
But the benefits of acai juice don’t end there. With regular servings of acai juice one can: improve sexual stamina, reduce cholesterol, feel energized, control diabetes, lose weight and much more! It’s no wonder why so many health gurus are encouraging more people to drink acai juice.
Of course, many people may think there must be a catch to acai juice. Maybe the brands promoting the juice are adding in extra nutrients. Well, while this is a common practice with other types of juices, acai juice doesn’t need extra nutrients because the berry has so much already.
This is not to say you shouldn’t do your homework before shopping for acai juice. Remember, like regular juices, acai juice may have different amounts of the berry present. So, always check the labels before making any final purchases. True, you won’t need 100% acai juice to still get the health benefits, but you will want as high a percentage as possible.
